How does CBD work?
CBD works by promoting homeostasis in the immune and central nervous systems through our endocannabinoid system, mainly maintaining balance or balance in our physiology. In contrast to THC, which produces a psychoactive sensation, CBD is completely non-psychoactive and can even lower the " high " resulting from THC. This not only enables full functionality when taken on its own, but also allows more THC to be consumed while keeping the impairment less. Note that the endocannabinoid system is prevalent throughout the body, including the brain, organs, glands and immune systems. There are two primary receptors in the endocannabinoid system: CB1 and CB2. The CB1 receptor mainly binds to the brain and nervous system, whereas the CB2 receptor mainly interacts with the immune system. The CBD homeostasis affects all those biological systems that govern our health.
